This was one of 12 paintings I composed as stimuli in a landmark art/science study that premiered at Astoria’s Royal Nebeker Gallery in 2021. Partnering with Jen Drake, Ph.D., of CUNY, Brooklyn College, I was exploring how people engaged emotionally with different kinds of artworks. These paintings went on to be featured in a presentation at the American Psychological Association’s annual conference in August 2022.
