When doing commissions, I tailor my process to meet every patron’s practical needs. In this case, a newly engaged couple came to my Portland studio wearing their favorite COVID sweats, and I worked closely with them to sketch some possible poses, then through a bit of trial and error, we came up with this image. In other cases, I might use photos or other imagery sent my way, especially if a studio session would be impractical.
Production times vary, from one to six months, depending on the length of the queue. If you need a piece made quickly to meet a specific deadline, we can often do a rushed order.
